Free reference for the blanks our partner stores print on. Measurements are of the shirt laid flat, in inches.

How to measure

  1. Take a t-shirt you already own that fits the way you like.
  2. Lay it flat. Measure across the chest one inch below the armpits.
  3. Measure from the top of the shoulder seam to the bottom hem.
  4. Match both numbers to the tables below. When in doubt, size up.

Sizing questions

How do I find my t-shirt size?

Lay a t-shirt that fits you well flat, measure across the chest one inch below the armpit, and match that number to the chest column in the chart. If you are between sizes, size up for a relaxed fit or down for a fitted look.

Do unisex t-shirts run big?

Unisex tees are cut straight and run roughly one size larger than women's cuts. Many women choose one size down in unisex.

Will the shirt shrink?

Most partner stores use pre-shrunk ring-spun cotton, so expect at most 3 to 5 percent shrinkage. Wash cold and tumble dry low to keep the print and size.

Are these sizes exact for every store?

No. These are typical measurements for the blanks used by Etsy, Amazon and TeePublic print partners. Always confirm on the store's product page before ordering.
